Ratzlaff Danielson joins North & Company LLP
A message from Luke Ratzlaff (owner of Ratzlaff Danielson):
I am excited to announce that on June 19, 2023 my law firm Ratzlaff Danielson joined with North & Company LLP, a law firm with deep roots in Crowsnest Pass dating back to about 1975 and currently serving over 13 other rural Alberta communities.

My goal for joining North & Company LLP is to provide Ratzlaff Danielson clients with a wider range of legal services and expertise, while still maintaining the personal touch and individual attention you have come to expect from an independent lawyer. My mission has always been to empower clients to achieve their goals by giving honest objective legal analyses and strategic recommendations for resolving current issues and for avoiding future potential problems. These values and the high standards of service of North & Company LLP align closely with this mission. I strongly believe that with the additional expertise and resources of North & Company LLP, I will further my mission and enhance my ability to serve you.
On a personal note, my family has recently grown to include a new baby. Joining an established firm will allow me to spend more time lawyering and less time on the administration required to run a highly regulated small business, which will in turn allow me to spend more time with my family.
What this mean for you
If you wish to continue with Luke Ratzlaff, you do not need to take any action at this time: I will continue to be your lawyer and my representation on your legal matter will continue seamlessly. If you have wills or corporate records at Ratzlaff Danielson, they will be transferred with me to North & Company LLP. I will send you a follow up email with my new contact information in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please continue to contact me at the email, phone, and mailing address you already have. If you prefer not to continue with me at North & Company LLP, you may change your representation at any time by completing this online form confirming your choice of representation.
The other lawyers at Ratzlaff Danielson will not be joining North & Company LLP.
Confidentiality
As lawyers, we take client privilege and confidentiality extremely seriously. The confidentiality of your legal matter will be maintained before, during, and after the merger. The Law Society of Alberta requires that we conduct conflict checks prior to transferring any client files to a new firm. If you believe there is a conflict with continuing your representation with North & Company LLP, please contact me before May 31, 2023.
